Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced F5 Systems Engineer to support our valued partner’s IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for modernizing and maintaining F5 systems, supporting VPN connectivity, and ensuring optimal performance across multiple environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and play an essential role in lifecycle management and enterprise system reliability.

Responsibilities
• Transition and modernize F5 systems across multiple environments
• Manage daily ticket queue: analyze requests, troubleshoot issues, and implement server changes
• Troubleshoot and support VPN connections using Access Policy Manager (APM)
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to support projects and migrations with minimal disruption
• Participate in lifecycle management tasks, including patching, version management, vulnerability remediation, and performance evaluations
• Support 24/7 on-call rotations as needed (nights/weekends) for incident resolution
• Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for F5 administration
Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in systems or network engineering, with a focus on F5 technologies preferred
• Hands-on experience with LTM, APM, ASM, GTM
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, BGP)
• Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to perform under pressure
• Familiarity with datacenter operations, firewall administration, and ServiceNow is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Certifications such as F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator or F5 Technology Specialist strongly preferred
• Bonus: Experience with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Azure DevOps
Pay
$25.95 Per Hour
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
