Join Nexeo as an AEMT or EMT – Support Facilities in Northern Utah
Nexeo is hiring certified EMT Basics and Advanced EMTs (AEMTs) to provide critical medical and safety support at Autoliv facilities across northern Utah. We have openings for:
• Full-Time AEMT – Based at the Promontory site, with both medical and security responsibilities
• On-Call EMT – Flexible, as-needed coverage across multiple locations
Due to federal regulations involving explosive materials, only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for these roles.
Full-Time AEMT – Promontory Location
This dual-role position includes emergency medical response and facility security responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Respond to on-site medical incidents as a first responder.
• Conduct routine safety and security patrols.
• Manage badge access and clearances for employees and visitors.
• Maintain fire suppression systems and complete safety inspections.
• Administer drug screenings and handle chain-of-custody documentation.
• Create detailed reports for accidents, treatments, and incidents.
• Oversee sensitive security data and access permissions.
On-Call EMT – Multiple Sites
Provide backup medical support as needed across northern Utah sites.
Responsibilities include:
• Respond to medical emergencies during scheduled shifts.
• Fill in for full-time EMTs when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient care documentation.
• Remain available and reliable for on-call scheduling.
Qualifications
All Applicants Must
• Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (ATF compliance).
• Hold a current Utah EMT Basic or Advanced EMT certification.
• Be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
Additional Requirements for Full-Time AEMT Role
• Must hold (or be scheduled to take) Advanced EMT certification.
• Prior security or military experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a rotating crew schedule.
Pay
$26.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Full-Time AEMT – Promontory Site
• Shift: 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Day Shift)
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
• Crew Rotation: Alternates every 4 weeks between rotating teams
On-Call EMT Pool – All Sites
• Flexibility: No fixed schedule; work on an as-needed basis
• Locations: Pick up shifts at Promontory, Tremonton, or Brigham City sites
• Coverage Notifications: Messaging system alerts available EMTs when coverage is needed
