General Labor – Lumber Yard |St. George, Utah
Nexeo HR is preparing for upcoming hiring needs and is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals for General Labor roles at a local lumber yard in St. George, Utah. These full-time positions support yard operations including loading and unloading materials, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable working outdoors, and want to be considered for future openings ahead of the busy summer season.
Responsibilities
• Load and unload lumber and building materials with care and efficiency
• Safely transport materials throughout the yard to designated locations
• Perform general labor tasks to support daily yard operations as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work effectively in outdoor conditions across all seasons and weather types
Qualifications
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs on a regular basis
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Steel-toed boots required for safety compliance
• Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or general labor preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions accurately
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour
