Prepress Technician | St. George, UT

Nexeo HR is hiring a Prepress Technician for a growing grand-format digital print company specializing in global brand activations and high-quality print production. This role is for a detail-oriented, technically skilled candidate with strong Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop experience and a solid understanding of prepress and print production workflows. This is not a creative graphic design role, but a technical position focused on preparing accurate, print-ready files in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Convert and prepare digital files from various formats for print production

• Review, verify, and modify file image sizes and layouts for accuracy

• Create templates ensuring correct layout and die-cut measurements

• Build proof images to demonstrate final print output and identify potential issues

• Perform color correction and recommend file adjustments based on project requirements

• Modify and standardize multiple file types and source materials

• Create layouts and production proofs for internal use or client approval

• Prioritize time-sensitive orders and resolve problem files efficiently

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure print-readiness and quality standards

• Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in all deliverables

Qualifications

• Full working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop (required)

• Strong understanding of file setup, layout, and print production workflows

• Experience with color correction, matching, and profiling preferred

• Familiarity with prepress and RIP-related software such as Caldera, Onyx, PitStop, Switch (preferred)

• Proficient working in a Mac OS environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Curious mindset with willingness to ask questions and learn

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; team-oriented contributor

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
