Warehouse Specialist | Manufacturing Facility
We are recruiting for a well-established, highly regulated manufacturing organization that plays a critical role in producing life-impacting products. This Warehouse Specialist supports daily plant operations by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely movement of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse operations within a GMP-controlled environment. This role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production flow, and ensuring shipments are processed efficiently and correctly.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and process incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments in accordance with company policies and GMP requirements.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, walkie riders, order selectors, and pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Accurately receive, document, and distribute materials to appropriate departments or warehouse locations.
• Prepare, document, and load outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery using approved logistics services.
• Perform daily and monthly cycle counts, zone counts, and inventory verifications for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Initiate inventory adjustments and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy within the inventory management system (Oracle).
• Minimize waste and inventory loss by ensuring all material movements are properly captured and documented.
• Process Material Destruction Orders (MDOs), verify quantities, and physically scrap non-conforming or expired inventory.
• Support nonconforming material (NCMR) processes by locating, moving, and coordinating materials for rework.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, walkie riders, pallet jacks, or order selectors (certification required or ability to obtain).
• Working knowledge of shipping, loading/unloading trailers, and logistics documentation, including commercial or international shipments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and ability to learn inventory systems such as Oracle.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document material movements and inventory data.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a team-based environment.
• Ability to consistently follow GMP procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Pay
$19.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm
