Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles
• Quickly and accurately diagnose mechanical issues using tools, equipment, and testing methods
• Complete repairs within flat-rate standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Install, repair, and service suspension, steering, braking, drivetrain, electrical, and related systems
• Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, patching, and replacements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, coworkers, and customers
• Document all repair work thoroughly and accurately
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and equipment handling guidelines
Qualifications
• 5+ years of Heavy Duty Mechanic or Automotive Technician experience
• Experience repairing and diagnosing light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
• Strong diagnostic skills using standard tools and equipment
• Ability to perform suspension, steering, brake, drivetrain, electrical, and tire services
• Must own a reliable, comprehensive mechanical tool set
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Effective time-management and communication skills
• Dependable, motivated, and eager for long-term stability
• Familiarity with shop procedures, safety standards, and repair documentation
Pay
$38.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 3:00pm
