Nexeo is hiring an experienced Tax Preparer for an established Accounting & Tax Preparation Firm in North Las Vegas. This full-time, temp-to-hire role offers long-term potential for a detail-oriented professional skilled in business and individual tax preparation—especially for small business clients. Responsibilities
• Prepare business tax returns, including 1120S (S-Corp) and 1065 (Partnership)
• Prepare individual tax returns for business owners
• Perform light bookkeeping for clients with incomplete or limited financial records
• Maintain and update client data in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to complete tax returns
• Work within a tech-forward environment using TaxDome, MS Office, and related applications
• Communicate directly with clients to request documents and clarify information
• Collaborate with senior staff; all prepared work will be reviewed prior to delivery
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of tax preparation experience preferred
• Strong understanding of business tax returns (1120S, 1065)
• Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop & Online
• Experience using Lacerte highly preferred
• Highly computer savvy; comfortable in a multi-software workflow
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• No specific education requirements
Pay
$25.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
