Senior OT Solutions / Cyber Engineer (Control Systems) | Ogden, UT

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled OT Solutions / Cyber Engineer to lead the design and implementation of secure control system infrastructure for a major engineering and manufacturing development project. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop hardened industrial control and automation systems that meet the highest standards of reliability, cybersecurity, and compliance.

This is a 100% onsite position offering a 9x80 schedule (every other Friday off), paid overtime, relocation assistance for non-local candidates, and a strong work/life balance.

Responsibilities

•    Design and develop control system infrastructure and facilities in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements

•    Collaborate with Instrumentation & Controls Engineers on solutions involving PLCs, HMIs, ICS, and DCS systems

•    Review and coordinate P&IDs, logic diagrams, and instrument data sheets

•    Evaluate vendor submittals and integrate findings into design deliverables

•    Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve quality and schedule objectives

•    Ensure designs comply with cybersecurity and government security standards

•    Support risk-based assessments and develop required control system security documentation

Qualifications

•    U.S. Citizenship (required due to security regulations)

•    Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance within a reasonable timeframe

•    Valid, Real ID–compliant driver’s license or state-issued ID at the time of hire

•    Successful completion of background check and drug screening (including testing for marijuana use)

•    Experience supporting OT/ICS design engineering, startup, and operations for industrial or government facilities

•    Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, TCP/IP networking, and Windows systems

•    Experience managing critical systems and digital asset inventories

•    Experience performing risk-based security control assessments

•    Working knowledge of control system design codes and standards, including NIST SP 800 and/or IEC/ISA 62443

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•    High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant experience

•    Active Secret Clearance (or higher)

•    Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CGR/CAP, or CCNA

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field

•    Understanding of mechanical/process engineering drawings and calculations

•    Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and CSI MasterFormat specifications

Pay

$105,000 – $190,000 per year (DOE)

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 9x80 schedule (every other Friday off)
