Systems Engineer (Mid–Senior Level) | Ogden, UT

Nexeo HR is seeking experienced Mid- to Senior-Level Systems Engineers to support the design, construction, and integration of large-scale, mission-critical engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced systems engineering principles to complex, multidisciplinary environments while helping ensure technical excellence, system integrity, and compliance across all project phases.

This is a 100% onsite position in Ogden, Utah, featuring a 9x80 work schedule (every other Friday off), paid overtime, relocation assistance (if applicable), and excellent work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Execute systems engineering tasks involving complex, multi-disciplinary requirements

• Develop innovative technical solutions and system designs

• Interface with engineering teams and clients to manage and verify facility and system requirements

• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation and configuration management packages

• Define and verify system and facility design requirements

• Support requirements traceability, verification, and validation in an MBSE environment

• Conduct impact analyses and manage configuration control

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical alignment and project success

• Utilize systems engineering tools such as IBM DOORS and CAMEO

Qualifications

• Proven experience in systems engineering, including design requirements development, system requirements verification, and development of system design documentation or validation reports

• 15+ years of related experience preferred (flexible for exceptional candidates)

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS, CAMEO, or similar MBSE tools

• Experience executing systems engineering for large-scale technical projects or complex commercial/industrial programs

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with engineering and office automation tools

• Experience supporting large, complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects preferred

• Familiarity with industry standards such as UFC and WBDG helpful

• INCOSE Certification or MBSE experience a plus

• Knowledge of RAMI/FMECA and manufacturing efficiency analysis advantageous

Pay

$100,000 – $180,000 per year DOE

Shift/Schedule

Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
