Data Center Technician | Mesa, AZ

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install computer/IT hardware, server rack components, and cabling following detailed schematics and diagrams.
• Perform quality inspections, verifying part numbers, quantities, and component condition.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and track spare parts, PPE, and departmental supplies using various WMS software & other inventory management tools.
• Process returns and complete accurate documentation and data entry in Excel and other internal systems.
• Use laser measuring tools and precision instruments to align and position server racks.
• Operate electric pallet jacks, straddle stackers, and rack movers safely and efficiently.
• Follow SOPs for build procedures, documentation, and safety requirements.
• Support other departments as needed through cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data center operations, IT hardware assembly, electronics production, or high-volume logistics.
• Must pass a 10-year national background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong computer skills or high technical aptitude.
• Hands-on experience building, assembling, or repairing computers, server racks, or other electronics preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with SAP, RF scanners, or WMS systems preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or similar IT certification(s) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout duration of shift.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Pay

$19.50 per hour (Automatic $1.00 raise after permanent hire to $20.50 per hour)

+FREE LUNCH, SNACKS, & DRINKS PROVIDED AT WORKSITE

Schedule

Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Must be willing & available to work overtime as needed.

Typical OT Hours:

•Weekdays: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

•Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Mandatory)
