Architect (Mid–Senior Level) | Ogden, UT

We are seeking Mid-level and Senior Architects to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel (formerly GBSD) program. Our customer supports Bechtel in the design, construction, and integration of Sentinel launch systems across multiple U.S. Air Force bases. This program is a key component of modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear triad. This is a full-time, on-site role offering paid overtime, a 9x80 schedule, and strong work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute architectural design phases including layouts, drawings, and specifications

• Prepare conceptual studies, renderings, reports, and planning documents

• Perform building code analyses and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

• Develop facility layouts and architectural details using Revit or 3D modeling tools

• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, forecasts, and change orders

• Review technical bids and support award recommendations

• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, contractors, clients, and project teams

• Analyze complex architectural issues and recommend solutions

• Support construction activities including RFIs, nonconformance reports, and constructability reviews

• Prepare work and material specifications and assist with CSI MasterFormat or SpecsIntact documentation

• Mentor junior architects and support collaborative team development

• Lead or participate in design reviews and technical discussions

• Ensure designs meet UFC and Whole Building Design Guide requirements

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (security clearance eligibility)

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

• Must pass background and drug screening (including marijuana)

• Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license at hire

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or international equivalent)

• 5+ years of facility design, architectural detailing, and code analysis experience

• Proficiency in Revit, CADD applications, and architectural rendering software

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Strong knowledge of architectural deliverables, construction methods, and materials

• Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills

Preferred

• Registered Architect (RA) license

• Prior DoD or government project experience

• Familiarity with procurement tools

• Advanced knowledge of CSI MasterFormat or SpecsIntact

• Experience applying UFC and WBDG standards

• Master’s degree in Architecture

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000+ DOE

Schedule

Full-Time | On-Site

9x80 Work Schedule (Every Other Friday Off)

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
