Quality Control Inspector | Henderson, NV

Nexeo HR is hiring a Quality Control Inspector in Henderson, Nevada. This role combines warehouse responsibilities with quality control inspections for IT equipment and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling IT hardware, and performing repetitive but critical inspections to ensure quality and data security.

Responsibilities

• Process IT equipment requests including computers, servers, networking devices, and peripherals; pick and pack orders with precision

• Inspect IT equipment for defects, discrepancies, or damage; promptly report issues

• Perform quality checks on data-bearing devices (servers, laptops, PCs, switches, storage arrays, etc.)

• Verify asset details including serial numbers, make, model, and physical condition

• Confirm proper data destruction (wiping or component removal) in line with data security protocols

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment

• Prepare shipments with accurate labeling and packaging; coordinate secure, on-time deliveries

• Track IT assets and maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance purposes

• Assist IT with basic testing, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware/software; escalate complex issues as needed

• Act as the final checkpoint for quality control and compliance before asset approval

• Collaborate with IT staff and cross-functional departments to meet operational needs

• Train new associates on processing procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality control, IT warehouse, or logistics preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks

• Knowledge of IT hardware components (servers, PCs, laptops, networking devices) a plus

• Familiarity with data security practices and asset tracking systems desirable

• Ability to lift and move IT equipment safely

• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance

• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills

Pay

• $16.00 per hour

Job Type

Shift/Schedule

• Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
