Nexeo HR is seeking an experienced Welder to join one of our valued clients in Hyde Park, Utah. This position involves precision welding and fabrication with a focus on stainless steel materials, including 304 SS and 316 SS. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in TIG welding and capable of producing high-quality welds on stainless steel and stainless pipe. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, detail-oriented professional looking for a long-term role with a respected fabrication team.
Responsibilities
• Perform TIG and dual-shield welding on stainless steel materials (304 SS and 316 SS).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols accurately.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components to precise project specifications.
• Inspect finished welds for strength, accuracy, and overall quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following OSHA and company standards.
• Participate in weld tests, including T-shape weld tests using dual shield.
• Safely operate grinders, chippers, and other fabrication tools as needed.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional welding experience (TIG, dual-shield, and fabrication preferred).
• Must be proficient in TIG welding stainless and stainless pipe (304 SS and 316 SS).
• Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must bring personal welding hood and gloves to the weld test (recommended tools: scraper/chipper, pliers, tape measure, hammer, and 12"/24" squares).
• Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Pay
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
