Nexeo HR has partnered with a leading fabrication company in West Jordan, UT to hire an experienced MIG Welder. This full-time role is ideal for highly skilled welders with 5+ years of welding and metal fabrication experience who are ready to take their career to the next level. As a MIG Welder, you’ll be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment with precision while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. If you are passionate about craftsmanship and take pride in producing durable, high-quality work, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum according to job specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines and related equipment
• Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with quality and safety standards
• Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, cutting, and polishing welds
• Maintain welding equipment in safe, proper working condition
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols while working in the shop
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and welding symbols
• Proficiency with welding equipment, measuring tools, and hand/power tools
• Welding certifications preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Familiarity with safety practices and proper PPE use in fabrication settings
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed based on production demands
Pay
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE
