Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a growing metal fabrication team in West Jordan, UT. This full-time opportunity is perfect for individuals with mechanical aptitude, CNC brake press experience, and a passion for precision manufacturing. As a Brake Press Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain brake press machines to produce high-quality sheet metal parts that meet exact specifications. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain brake press machines to bend and form sheet metal
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate production
• Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and fixtures
• Perform first-piece inspections and continuous quality checks throughout production runs
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of experience with press brakes or similar machinery
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Experience with CNC press brake machines
• Background in metal fabrication or manufacturing
• Ability to make small programming adjustments

Pay

$22.00 - $24.00 Per Hour DOE
