Maintenance Mechanic | Logan, UT
Nexeo HR, on behalf of a leading print and marketing solutions company, is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Logan, Utah. The Maintenance Mechanic will play a critical role in keeping industrial production equipment running at peak performance by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair production machinery, including presses, die cutters, inserters, folders, conveyors, and bindery equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments
• Interpret diagrams, sketches, wiring schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues accurately
• Manufacture or reproduce parts using machine tools (lathe, mill, grinders, etc.) and welding equipment as needed
• Perform equipment alignments and take precise measurements to ensure performance and reliability
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Document maintenance activities and strictly follow company safety protocols
Qualifications
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with complex machinery and industrial systems
• Ability to identify and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control boards, and drive/positioning systems
• Experience using precision instruments for pressure, flow, and alignment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Ability to fabricate custom parts and perform advanced machine assembly
• Solid understanding of shop math, geometry, fits, and tolerances
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
Pay
• $26.63 – $27.88 per hour (based on experience)

• Day Shift Option: Monday 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Friday – Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Night Shift Option: Monday 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Friday – Sunday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
