Nexeo is seeking an experienced and licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join our client in Brigham City, UT. As a full-service engineering and surveying firm with decades of experience serving Northern Utah, we deliver high-quality industrial, commercial, and residential projects that positively impact our communities.
We’re looking for a motivated, senior-level engineer to lead civil engineering projects, mentor junior staff, and support business development while working on a wide range of municipal infrastructure and private development projects.
Responsibilities
• Project Leadership: Manage and oversee design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
• Design & Technical Oversight: Prepare detailed plans and specifications in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring compliance with all codes and standards.
• Project Management: Monitor budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Build and maintain strong client relationships, lead presentations to public agencies, and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Quality Control: Perform engineering calculations, review technical reports, and seal drawings and documents as the responsible PE.
• Business Development: Contribute to marketing, proposals, and client outreach to help expand the firm’s market presence.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Utah preferred)
• 7–10+ years of civil engineering experience (minimum 5 years required); consulting background strongly preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and industry standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to pass ongoing drug screenings (federal project requirement)
• Business development and marketing experience preferred
Pay
$90,000–$130,000 per year
Schedule
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Flexible between 6:00am–6:00pm (in-office by 8:00am preferred)
