As a Recruiter, you’ll be a key player in the hiring process—sourcing and placing quality candidates in client roles while ensuring a smooth transition to the job site. This role requires a proactive, energetic approach to identifying and engaging top talent, often with urgency. You’ll also collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other departments to ensure accurate documentation while working closely with your team to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
• Manage employee onboarding by processing applications and ensuring all new hire paperwork (Application, I-9, W-4, Direct Deposit, Health Benefits, Client Onboarding Documents) is accurately completed.
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to generate reports, track candidates, update employee records, and streamline onboarding.
• Leverage job posting platforms, text messaging software, and other recruiting tools to attract top talent.
• Conduct pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug tests, reference checks, and certifications.
• Actively engage with candidate leads and develop a strong talent pipeline.
• Source and network with top candidates to fill open positions quickly and effectively.
• Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assist candidates with resume creation as needed.
• Write compelling submittal summaries that highlight candidate qualifications.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, providing interview coaching when necessary.
• Present job offers and negotiate employment terms to secure the best outcome for both clients and candidates.
• Assist with payroll processing, including hours collection, reconciliation, and distribution.
• Take initiative and perform additional duties as needed to support recruitment success.
Qualifications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience in recruiting (staffing agency or in-house) or customer service.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Outlook) and intermediate computer skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and sourcing tools.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications, think critically, and make informed hiring recommendations.
Pay
$19.00–$22.00 per hour DOE + Commissions + Bonus Opportunities
