Consumers & Maintenance Technician | Logan, UT
Nexeo is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Consumers and Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values efficiency and organization, and takes pride in keeping equipment and processes running at peak performance.
As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for maintaining shop equipment, managing tools and consumables, and supporting general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and productive workspace.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery, tools, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot issues involving hydraulics, electrical components, and mechanical systems
• Support tool crib operations—track, update, and coordinate inventory with purchasing
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and assist Document Control with data entry
• Assist with general facility upkeep including lighting, equipment cleaning, and shop organization
• Support shipping and receiving tasks, including loading/unloading and moving materials
• Coordinate and track maintenance for company trucks
• Occasionally fabricate simple parts to support maintenance tasks
• Pick up or deliver tools and materials as needed
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean work environment and assist with OSHA recordkeeping
Qualifications
• Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Proficient using precision measuring tools
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude (required)
• Clean driving record (required)
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Experience in metal fabrication or tool/consumable usage is a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse/outdoor conditions
Pay
$25.00–$28.00 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40-50 hours per week
