Welder/Fabricator (Level 2 or 3) | Hyde Park, UT
Nexeo HR is hiring experienced Welder/Fabricators for a long-term, full-time opportunity with a respected manufacturing partner in Hyde Park, Utah. Level 2 and Level 3 welders will work with advanced fabrication techniques, blueprints, and welding processes to meet production goals. Level 3 fabricators will also take on a mentorship role and help oversee shop flow and training.
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding schematics
• Perform advanced welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Dual Shield, with a focus on stainless steel (304/316)
• Follow First Article procedures, ensure production accuracy, and maintain quality standards
• Lead or participate in training junior welders and support workflow efficiency (Level 3)
• Operate fabrication machinery and support safe shop practices
• Track jobs and log hours using an MRP system
• Monitor consumable usage and help maintain adequate inventory
• Help identify and resolve production or scheduling issues
• Maintain a low scrap rate and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience (additional experience required for Level 3)
• Must be weld certified or able to obtain certification
• Skilled in TIG welding, Dual Shield, CJP welding, and working with exotic materials
• Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Professional work ethic and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs on a regular basis
• Must pass a UA drug screen
Pay
$24.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on experience and level)
Schedule
Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
