We are currently hiring a full-time Optical Lab Technician to support daily operations in a fast-paced optometry setting. Responsibilities

•    Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses that align with their vision needs, lifestyle, and budget

•    Deliver outstanding customer service and address patient concerns or questions with professionalism

•    Conduct preliminary eye tests, including measurements for glasses and contact lenses

•    Educate patients on lens materials, anti-reflective coatings, blue light filters, and frame styles

•    Process and track orders using optical inventory software and maintain accurate records

•    Collaborate with optometrists, lab technicians, and front office staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

•    Meet or exceed sales goals while upholding quality and compliance standards

•    Stay informed on new lens technologies, eyewear trends, and optometry best practices

Qualifications

•    Prior experience in optical sales, eyeglass fitting, or optometry support is preferred

•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient care

•    Proficient in using POS systems and inventory management software

•    Knowledge of lens types, frame adjustments, and prescription interpretation

•    High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to multitask

•    Willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical environment

•    Basic understanding of eye care procedures (training provided)

Pay

$16 per hour

Schedule

Full-time | Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
