Industrial Maintenance Technician | Tremonton, UT

Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a nationally recognized food production facility in Tremonton. This is a hands-on, full-time role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and confident working with electrical systems, automation, and mechanical components in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

•    Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production and facility equipment

•    Work with mechanical, electrical, PLC, robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, steam, and welding systems

•    Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

•    Use CMMS software to manage work orders and maintenance logs

•    Communicate clearly with the maintenance team and production supervisors

•    Support food safety and SQF quality standards

•    Assist with inventory tracking and process improvements

•    Perform fabrication, operator training, and general facility maintenance

•    Follow OSHA safety protocols, including LOTO, PPE, and confined space entry

Qualifications

•    Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanics, Electronics, or a related field preferred

•    2+ years of industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance experience strongly preferred

•    Knowledge of fluid power, industrial electricity, PLCs, robotics, welding, machining, and rigging

•    Familiar with motor controllers, sensors, VFDs, and diagnostic tools

•    Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical schematics

•    Understanding of OSHA safety requirements (LOTO, CSE, PPE, etc.)

•    Strong problem-solving and communication skills

•    Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot or cold conditions

•    Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Pay

$32.00 – $39.00 per hour

Schedule

3:45 PM – 4:00 AM | 2-2-3 rotating schedule (built-in overtime + every other weekend off)
