QA Supervisor | Clearfield, UT
Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for a full-time, direct-hire role with a premier manufacturing partner in Clearfield, UT. This is a critical leadership position within a welding-based production environment, ideal for candidates with a deep understanding of quality systems, team leadership, and continuous improvement methodologies. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the QA Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving quality standards, and promoting operational excellence in alignment with ISO, UL, and ETL certifications.
Responsibilities
• Ensure production processes comply with corporate quality standards, policies, and procedures
• Oversee product quality to meet or exceed customer specifications and expectations
• Develop and manage calibration programs for tools and equipment
• Lead document control efforts to meet ISO 9001 standards
• Supervise QA operations at the Utah facility, leading and mentoring quality team members
• Promote and uphold the company’s core values: Safety, Quality, and Productivity
• Provide training in continuous improvement practices, including: Lean Manufacturing, A3 Problem Solving, Quality systems and tools
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in welding-based manufacturing
• 5+ years in quality assurance/control with strong knowledge of QA methodologies
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Proficient in reading fabrication and engineering drawings
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Effective communicator across all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and accountable leadership style
• Multilingual communication skills a plus
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AWS D1.1 preferred
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training (certification preferred)
Pay
$90,000–$100,000 annually
Schedule
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday–Friday
