Maintenance Lead | Henderson, NV

Nexeo HR is looking for a Building and Grounds Facility Maintenance Lead. The Building and Grounds Facility Maintenance Lead is responsible for the overall upkeep and functionality of facility buildings and grounds. This role ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment through leadership, hands-on maintenance work, and effective coordination of tasks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform routine building and grounds maintenance
Conduct inspections to proactively identify repair needs and safety concerns
Lead and execute maintenance tasks, including:
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
Landscaping, irrigation, and seasonal snow removal
Maintain and track maintenance tools, inventory, and equipment
Operate machinery and maintenance-related equipment safely and efficiently
Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors as necessary
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and company policies
Respond swiftly to urgent repair needs and facility emergencies
Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of all maintenance activities

Qualifications

5–7 years of relevant maintenance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of facility systems and grounds upkeep
Hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and safety protocols
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Willingness to work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed

Pay

$21.00 - $21.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
