Industrial Sewer/Sign Finisher

Nexeo HR is actively seeking an Industrial Sewer/Sign Finisher to join our team in the Henderson, NV area. This role involves working with a variety of materials, including fabric graphics, signs, decals, vinyl banners, billboards, and trade show displays.

In addition to sewing tasks, the position requires the use of various production equipment such as laminators, CNC routers, hand tools, and industrial sewing machines. Team members will follow standardized work instructions, drawings, samples, and verbal directions to complete projects accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew a variety of fabrics and materials with precision and attention to detail.

• Assemble aluminum extrusion frames and walls according to specifications.

• Support production and installation departments by assisting with tasks such as finishing, laminating, and other processes while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Inspect and proof finished signs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and project success.

• Work both independently and collaboratively in a cooperative, enthusiastic, and friendly manner to achieve team and company goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines or similar equipment.

• Ability to follow clearly defined policies and procedures and consult with supervisors when questions arise.

• Problem-solving skills for addressing issues with straightforward solutions.

• Physical capability to safely lift, move, or carry objects weighing 35+ lbs without assistance.

• Comfort with working on the floor in kneeling positions to cut and handle various fabrics and materials.

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently as needed.

• Commitment to maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines.

Pay

$18.00 - $23.00 Per Hour DOE

Schedule

Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday – Friday
