Inspector Packers

Nexeo HR is currently seeking detail-oriented and dependable Inspector Packers. Qualified candidates will demonstrate excellent dexterity for manually assembling small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment. Candidates should also be comfortable performing basic computer functions using Microsoft programs.

The Inspector Packer is responsible for inspecting, weighing, packaging, and identifying defective medical molded plastic components. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality and ensuring accurate documentation and labeling.

Responsibilities

•    Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.

•    Manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, or equipment; sort products for defects as required.

•    Conduct visual inspections of products using various types of magnification to ensure quality standards are met.

•    Complete production records and work order documentation accurately and promptly.

•    Weigh, count, package, and label finished products according to specifications.

Qualifications

•    Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

•    Ability to access and operate a computer, performing basic tasks in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•    Familiarity with inventory management systems.

•    Must be able to work in a clean room environment under regulated conditions.

•    Ability to sit or stand for extended periods depending on the machine or task.

•    Required to use a computer or touch screen for entering work order data.

•    Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Pay 

$18.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Rotation Day Shift: 6:30am- 6:30pm
