HVAC Counter Sales Associate

Now Hiring: HVAC Counter Sales Associate – Distribution Center | Austin, TX

Nexeo HR is hiring a HVAC Counter Sales Associate for a leading distribution center in Austin, TX. If you have at least 1 year of HVAC experience and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced warehouse setting, we want to meet you. Forklift certification is a BIG plus!

Responsibilities

•   Assist walk-in and call-in customers with HVAC parts and product orders.

•   Apply product knowledge to recommend solutions and help boost sales.

•   Process customer orders, returns, quotes, and inventory transfers using internal systems.

•   Operate a forklift to safely move and load products into customer vehicles.

•   Keep shelves organized by stocking, front-facing, and cleaning.

•   Conduct accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting procedures.

•   Explain branch policies related to returns, credits, and payments to customers.

•   Handle customer concerns professionally and assist in resolving issues.

•   Provide follow-up service, share promotions, and recommend additional products.

•   Contribute to warehouse operations through general housekeeping and team support.

Qualifications

•  Required: 1+ year of experience or knowledge in the HVAC industry.

•   High school diploma or GED equivalent.

•   Strong customer service and communication skills.

•   Basic computer and data entry skills.

•   Forklift certified (or willing to become certified).

•   Able to lift and move up to 75 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.

•   Must pass a background check and drug screen.

•   Valid driver’s license required.

Pay

$21.00 - $24.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Saturdays as needed (open until 12:00 PM) | Closed Sundays
