Nexeo HR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Ogden, Utah. Responsibilities

• Investigate employee and management concerns, questions, and complaints.

• Provide coaching and development for managers and employees.

• Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure consistent application of workplace policies.

• Support leave processes, including FMLA and STD/LTD administration.

• Handle unemployment claims and assist with appeals.

• Present offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements.

• Support internal moves, onboarding, and career development programs.

• Partner with local organizations to strengthen talent pipelines and workforce planning.

• Maintain and update HRIS databases and employee records.

• Oversee systems related to new hires, terminations, attendance, and file management.

• Conduct stay interviews and drive initiatives to improve retention and engagement.

• Plan and execute employee relations activities and company events.

• Collaborate with operations leaders to align HR strategies with plant goals.

• Develop and implement communication plans to foster continuous improvement.

• Support change management efforts and ensure successful program execution.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience (required).

• Proven track record of supporting 600+ employees in a manufacturing environment.

• Expertise in employee relations, investigations, and training facilitation.

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts (preferred).

• Strong coaching and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

 

Pay

$80k - $95k


Schedule

9/80 work schedule, with hours rotating between 5:30 AM and 4:30 PM alongside the HR team.
