Machine Operator

Nexeo HR is seeking a qualified Machine Operator to join our team in St. George, UT. In this role, you will be responsible for operating filling and packaging machines, ensuring they run efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for startup, ensuring all settings are optimized for production.

• Safely operate two machines during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.

• Replace rubber, Teflon, and top seal tape as required to maintain machine functionality.

• Perform film changes for production runs, handling up to 40 lbs. of film efficiently.

• Possess a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and apply them for the job.

• Make necessary adjustments to side, bottom, and top seals, as well as die cuts, to ensure optimal product quality.

• Clear and adjust feed rolls to resolve jams and maintain smooth production flow.

• Ensure accurate product weights by making the required adjustments.

• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time throughout your shift.

• Assist with the assembly of boxes and cartons for packaging.

• Support the team by placing boxes and cartons on pallets for shipment.

• Perform additional tasks assigned by your supervisor to ensure continuous production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: Demonstrates precision and accuracy in every task, ensuring high-quality results.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong troubleshooting skills, able to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with the ability to clearly communicate within a team and with supervisors.

• Team Collaboration: Strong team player, contributing positively to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Experience: Previous experience in quality control and equipment operation is a plus.

• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and performing tasks involving carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects for up to two hours.

Pay

$16.50 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Monday - Friday
