Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled Logistics Technician to join our team in supporting critical data center operations in Reno, NV & Sparks, NV area. This role is pivotal in managing material flow, ensuring accurate inventory control, and providing top-notch customer service in a high-tech, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Material Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect shipments of computer server components, networking equipment, and small parts to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

• Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory records using software, perform routine audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure materials are organized and accessible.

• Forklift Operation and Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cherry pickers) to transport and store server racks, crates, and other materials within the facility.

• Assembly and Preparation: Assemble small components and server racks, including power supplies, networking hardware, and cabling, while performing quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to blueprints.

• Prepare Shipments: Pack and label materials for shipping and coordinate deliveries with vendors and teams.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area & adhere to safety protocols.

• Update inventory logs, track shipments, and report any issues or shortages.

• Work with other teams to resolve material needs and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

• Preferred: Experience operating electric forklift models, including stand-up reach, cherry picker, sit-down forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plus but not required.

• At least 2-3 years of relevant warehouse experience is required (experience in a data center environment preferred).

• Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• Exceptional accuracy in documenting material transactions and tracking inventory.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more) and perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, walking, and bending.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.

Pay

$23.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | 6:30am – 3:30pm | Monday - Friday
