Nexeo HR is seeking an experienced Hybrid Program Manager II to lead and manage key corporate programs and multiple projects in the Mendon, UT area. This direct-hire role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of the business by overseeing program planning, execution, and performance evaluation. Reporting to the Product Manager, General Manager, or Engineering Director, you will be responsible for driving the successful completion of projects through the Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

Lead Program Execution: Oversee and manage multiple projects within programs, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with organizational objectives, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure successful outcomes.

Team Collaboration: Partner with Development Managers and Engineers to assign responsibilities, set priorities, and foster accountability across teams, driving cohesive and efficient project execution.

Promote Program Adoption: Drive the successful implementation and utilization of programs across the organization, facilitating clear communication, collecting feedback, and ensuring continuous engagement.

Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Utilize data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program success, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives for continuous optimization.

Manage Project Teams: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in adherence to established quality standards.

Drive Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather customer requirements, define project scopes, and create detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Define Clear Milestones: Work with teams to set clear, achievable milestones using SMARTY principles (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Right-Sized, Time-Bound, Yours), ensuring focused progress throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor Performance: Regularly track program progress, address deviations from milestones, and implement corrective actions to maintain alignment with goals and ensure success.

Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks while ensuring all activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support Business Development: Assist in preparing proposals, provide accurate project estimates, and contribute to defining budgets and schedules for new business opportunities.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements that optimize program delivery, improve efficiency, and drive organizational success.

 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Over 10 years of experience in program management, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles overseeing multiple complex programs or projects, ideally within the solar, automation, or technology sectors.

Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, driving program execution, and aligning both business and program objectives to achieve desired outcomes.

PMO Governance: Expertise in establishing and maintaining robust PMO governance structures, implementing project management methodologies, and conducting effective phase-gate reviews to ensure project success.

Financial & Resource Management: Extensive experience managing program budgets, efficiently allocating resources, and ensuring strict financial control throughout the program lifecycle.

Risk & Change Management: Proficient in proactively identifying risks and issues, resolving challenges, and effectively managing changes to program scope, timelines, and resources to maintain program integrity.

Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.

Continuous Improvement: Passionate about process optimization and continuous improvement, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and fostering a culture of change.

Location: Must be located within driving distance or willing to relocate.

 

Pay

Salary | $120k -$140k | Competitive pay based on experience


Schedule

Hybrid | Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday

*One day in office
