Quality Control Inspector

Nexeo is looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team in North Logan, Utah. Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining excellence by inspecting incoming materials, monitoring in-process products, and verifying the quality of final components. Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished components (including welded, machined, assembled, or finished items) using gauges, scales, and other testing equipment.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain and enhance quality standards, foster continuous improvement.

• Investigate and resolve quality issues by generating non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Create, review, and maintain accurate and detailed quality documentation in alignment with established processes.

• Reconcile final inspection records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

• Organize and oversee the document control system, including scanning, filing, and archiving quality-related records.

• Communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, customers, and external auditors to address and resolve quality-related matters promptly.

• Adhere to all company policies, manufacturing standards, and safety regulations to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall team and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

• Minimum of 2 years of quality control and inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Familiarity with Portable CMM equipment (e.g., articulating arms, laser trackers) and associated inspection software.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with the ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills for efficient documentation and communication.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

• Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills to identify and address quality challenges effectively.

Pay

$21.00 -$35.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Thursday and every other Friday
