Hybrid Software Development Manager

Nexeo HR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hybrid Software Development Manager for a direct hire role in Providence, UT. In this role you will lead the software engineering team in developing cutting-edge solutions for autonomous vehicle command and control systems. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions.

• Develop and execute forward-thinking technical roadmaps and detailed designs.

• Deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions for mining customers worldwide.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to align software functionality with customer expectations.

• Foster a culture of excellence by implementing agile methodologies and maintaining process-oriented practices.

• Analyze and resolve technical challenges related to feasibility, optimization, and production.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental considerations during design processes.

• Manage department budgets and resources, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Drive continuous improvement in product efficiency, manufacturing processes, and environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in C# or similar programming languages.

• 5+ years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading software engineering teams.

• Proficiency in full-stack development, including UI, client/server communication, and server-side logic.

• Experience developing highly scalable APIs and integrating third-party systems.

• Advanced skills in concurrent, multi-threaded, and asynchronous programming.

• Expertise with MS Visual Studio and a commitment to coding best practices.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration and innovation.

Pay

Salary | Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Hybrid | Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday

*Three days remote, two days in office (preferably Tuesday’s and one other day))

*Must be flexible to work onsite more days if needed
