Carpenter

Nexeo HR is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join a leading tradeshow fabrication company in Las Vegas, NV. As a Carpenter, you will tackle complex fabrication challenges using traditional and digital manufacturing techniques, interacting directly with the Project Management and Design Teams to ensure exceptional results. Responsibilities 

• Provide detailed project feedback through clear markups, sketches, and 3D model reviews.

• Fabricate components and assemblies with high precision using various materials, including solid wood, veneers, MDF, laminates, and composites.

• Interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and instructions accurately.

• Assemble and test-fit CNC or manually fabricated parts as per project requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Utilize woodworking machinery and tools confidently and safely.

• Meet quality standards while maintaining inventory and repairing client-owned exhibits as needed.

Qualifications 

• Strong working knowledge of woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists.

• Experience with laminating, basic woodworking techniques, and standard cabinet hardware (Blum preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• 4+ years of carpentry experience preferred.

• Organizational and mathematical skills for material take-offs and calculations.

• Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial platforms.

Pay 

$20.00 - $28.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Monday-Friday

*Overtime as needed
