Join Nexeo for an exciting General Labor opportunity at the Salt Lake Airport! We are hiring skilled workers for a 60-90-day project focused on maintaining and repairing jet bridges. If you’re experienced in scissor lifts, saws, and hand tools and ready to work on an engaging project in a dynamic environment, apply today! Responsibilities
• Review work orders to ensure tasks are performed according to specific guidelines.
• Utilize detailed drawings to accurately assemble parts and products.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and schematics for accurate assembly.
• Verify stock levels, pick parts needed for tasks, and follow procedures when supplies are low.
• Ensure tools used in departmental processes are correctly adjusted, calibrated, and maintained for optimal performance.
• Operate hand, air, and electric power tolls as required.
• Follow Jetway’s quality policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
• Show readiness to move into new classified positions as necessary skills are developed.
Qualifications
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able t follow work orders and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in operating scissor lifts, hand tools, and power saws.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Able to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Successfully pass a Federal Background Check.
• Complete Fingerprinting to meet airport security clearance standards.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Pay
$19.81 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday
*Willingness to work nights as needed
