Nexeo is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Outside Vendor Manager to join the growing team of a business in Hyde Park, UT! In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between the establishment and their external vendors and material suppliers. You’ll collaborate with various internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials, track purchase orders, and foster strong, long-term relationships with the suppliers. Responsibilities
• Partner with Project Engineers, Department Heads, and the Planning and Scheduling teams to oversee all open purchase orders with vendors and suppliers.
• Track and manage delivery schedules to ensure materials are delivered on time and within project deadlines.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date communication with internal teams and suppliers regarding product and material deliveries.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with vendors, resolving any service or supply challenges to keep operations running smoothly.
• Keep detailed, accurate records of vendor interactions using spreadsheets and MRP systems for full transparency and tracking.
• Proactively communicate via phone and email to track vendor performance, resolve schedule conflicts, and ensure seamless coordination.
• Utilize a centralized data system to update vendor and material information in real-time for full transparency across the organization.
Qualifications
• Accuracy and organizational skills to manage multiple vendor relationships and orders.
• Hands-on experience with data entry and management in an MRP system is a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors.
• A professional, team-oriented attitude with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•.Ability to remain stationary for about 50% of the time, traverse indoor and outdoor areas, and occasionally utilize stairs or work atop trailers to load/unload materials.
• Comfortable working in varying outdoor weather conditions as necessary.
Pay
$35,000 - $50,000 annually DOE
Schedule
Day Shift 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday
