Experienced Forklift Driver

Nexeo HR is seeking Experienced Forklift Drivers for an awesome company in the Ogden, UT area. Candidates must have a proven track record of longevity with previous employers.

Responsibilities

•   Coordinate distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency and flow of products from facility to facility.

•   Verify incoming shipments for appropriate quantity and quality according to the receiving

procedure.

•   Rotate and stock products by moving pallets/drums/bags of material from storage locations to locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by manual stacking according to the warehouse procedure and HACCP plan.

•   Understand and comply with the production facility's Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulations.

•   Maintain the Central Warehouse in a clean and orderly manner by completing standard

warehouse housekeeping and sanitation duties.

•   Actively and effectively participate in team activities (including meetings, planning sessions, etc.).

•   Sample raw material according to the sampling procedure.

•   Understand and use transportation concepts, practices, and procedures.

•   Effectively complete the daily transportation needs as indicated by the department schedule and/or manager.

•   Load and unload the truck as required.

Qualifications

•   High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 

•   Minimum of 24 months experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment or in a related field.

•   Must have experience with and knowledge of modern warehousing and inventory procedures.

•   Understand the principles and procedures of record keeping and safe work practices.

•   Have the ability to organize stock and issue materials, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly and concisely.

•   Must be forklift certified and have a current Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record for insurability.

Pay

$19.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift I 6:00am - 4:30pm I Monday - Thursday
