Inventory Control Specialist

Nexeo HR is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team and contribute to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our partner company's warehouse facility in North Lake, TX.

Responsibilities 

•   Leverage prior warehouse experience to contribute to seamless warehouse operations.

•   Demonstrate expertise in inventory management and tracking to ensure accurate and organized stock levels.

•   Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.

•   Perform audit counts to validate inventory records and enhance overall data precision.

•   Execute consolidations of inventory items to optimize storage space and enhance logistical efficiency.

•   Proactively make adjustments to inventory records, ensuring real-time accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

•   Utilize technology skills, including navigating the Internet and web tools, to support inventory management tasks.

•   Proficiently use Microsoft Excel or similar applications to create and maintain detailed inventory reports.

•   Operate RF scan guns with precision to efficiently scan and update inventory information.

Qualifications

•  Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse experience is required.

•  Minimum of 1-year experience operating a stand-up, reach forklift models.

•  Competence in inventory management and tracking.

•  Experience in conducting cycle counts.

•  Ability to perform audit counts.

•  Proficiency in consolidations and adjustments.

•  Familiarity with utilizing technology & warehouse systems software, including navigating the Internet, web tools, and logistics software database.

•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar applications.

•  Skilled in using RF scan guns.

•  High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

•  Reliable transportation to worksite.

•  Successfully pass a national background check.

•  Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Pay 

$20.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift | 8:00am – 5:00pm | Monday - Friday

Weekend and 2nd Shifts coming - pay offered to differential for these shifts
