Truck Box Assembler

Nexeo HR is seeking a Truck Box Assembler for an awesome company in North Salt Lake City, UT. The Truck Box Assembler is responsible for assembling various components, parts, or pieces to construct truck boxes adhering to specifications, blueprints, or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components and parts. Quality checking completed items to produce structurally sound products.

Responsibilities 

•   Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, specifications, and other written instructions or

procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

•   Assemble and install various truck body parts.

•   Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials.

•   Install hardware and accessories ensuring the final product meets quality standards and safety regulations.

•   Perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and assist in maintaining equipment.

•   Operate stationary and overhead cranes.

•   Safely works on and off a ladder.

•   Operate saw, rivet gun, and other appropriate tools

•   Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

•   Proven experience as a Truck Box Assembler.

•   Requires a mechanical aptitude.

•   Must be detail-oriented and very meticulous.

•   Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

•   Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

•   Must have experience with basic electrical, pneumatic, and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, and other tools as assigned).

•   Must have your own tools or be willing to purchase personal tools is required.

•   Knowledge of how to operate a pallet jack.

•   Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment.

•   Adherence to all quality systems procedures and policies.

•   Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

•   Performs all tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.

•   Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on-time.

Pay 

$17.00 - $20.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift I 5:30am - 3:30pm I Monday - Thursday
