Building Maintenance Technician

Nexeo HR is seeking a friendly, outgoing, team player for a Building Maintenance Technician position for our partner, a telecommunications company in the Denver area. It is preferred that the candidate has 1-3 years of maintenance experience. The candidate must have solid knowledge of computer skills, email, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities 

•  Perform semi-skilled maintenance and/or operational activities in the building.

•  Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing etc.

•  Perform preventative maintenance of HVAC, generators, and other equipment.

•  Perform and/or coordinate emergency building repairs.

•  Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations.

•  Work on-call (as needed on a rotational basis) to assist with infrastructure failures, building access and data center technical remote hands.

•  Complete required paperwork and email with team efficiently.

•  Assist in policing and maintaining facility and outside perimeter areas of a secured building.

•  Assist in receiving, sorting, and corresponding with deliveries to the building.

•  Perform routine custodial maintenance when needed.

•  Operation and minor repair of equipment infrastructure, tools, and related items.

•  Assist in maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies.

•  Clean outside areas of building which may include snow removal.

Qualifications

•  Must have solid computer skills, email, spreadsheets, text, etc.

•  Ability to self-perform, (this is a hands-on position).

•  Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement for this position.

•  1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.

•  Background check and security screening required.

•  High School diploma, GED, or trade school.

Working Conditions 

•  Physical work requiring lifting a maximum of 100 pounds with or without assistance.

•  Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

•  Considerable walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing. 

•  Regular pushing/pulling and bending.

•  Work requires indoor and outdoor with exposure to all weather conditions, and exposure to dust, noise, and chemicals.

Pay

$28.00 - $ 30.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift l 8:00am - 5:30pm l Monday - Friday
