Production Supervisor/Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of equipment such as presses, stampers, scrubbers, kilns, and coaters.

• Lead, mentor, and manage shift operators, including scheduling, approving time off, and maintaining shift coverage.

• Ensure proper training, documentation, and cross-training to optimize production.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.

• Foster communication and collaboration within the team to meet individual and collective goals.

• Track and analyze metrics to monitor progress against production objectives.

• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in ceramics or manufacturing.

• Ability to manage equipment schedules like presses, kilns, and coaters efficiently.

• Experience in mentoring, training, and scheduling shift operators.

• Knowledge of workplace safety with a proven record of maintaining compliance.

• Experience in boosting team performance and operational efficiency.

• Ability to track and analyze metrics to meet production goals.

Pay

$20.00 - $23.53 DOE

Schedule

B Shift | Monday 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Tuesday – Thursday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

C Shift | Monday 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Friday – Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

D Shift | Monday 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday – Sunday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
