Nexeo HR is seeking an Experienced Granite Countertop Fabricator. Candidate must have experience working in a granite or countertop shop. Candidate must also be able to lift heavy work pieces and be willing to work all day and take direction with a good attitude.
Responsibilities
• Stone Cutting and Shaping: Utilize precision cutting tools and machinery to cut and shape granite according to specifications.
• Polishing and Finishing: Finish granite surfaces by polishing and applying sealants to enhance appearance and durability.
• Measurement and Layout: Take accurate measurements and create layout plans to ensure precise fabrication according to project requirements.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Material Handling: Safely handle and transport granite slabs, ensuring proper care and protection during the fabrication process.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide input on technical aspects.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a granite fabricator.
• Proficient in granite fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy granite slabs, stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in fabrication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to understand project requirements and communicate with team members.
Pay
$18.00 Per Hour
Schedule
6:00am – 3:00pm | Monday – Friday
