New Era Staffing & HR Solutions is hiring immediately for the Shipping & Receiving Lead position at a high-volume Packaging and Fulfillment Facility specializing in large-format banners, posters, and promotional event materials in Tukwila, WA.

Pay: $28.00 – $29.00 per hour
Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Potential OT on Weekends)

Shipping & Receiving Lead Position Summary:
As the Shipping/Receiving Lead, you will coordinate and assist with the movement of materials and products in and out of the facility. You’ll help direct team members, oversee shipping and receiving tasks, ensure accuracy of inventory, and maintain safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, enjoys problem-solving on the floor, and thrives in a busy manufacturing setting.
You’ll be responsible for both the receipt of inbound stock and the shipping of custom print orders, using a combination of manual and scanning tools to track inventory and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming materials, verify packing slips, and inspect for damage or accuracy
Log shipments into inventory management systems and place items in appropriate storage locations
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (current certification a plus).
Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for shipment based on customer orders and event deadlines
Create shipping labels and coordinate with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or freight services
Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments
- Labeling up boxes and pallets for rollouts and all other outbound shipment
- Helping to take received in goods out to respective production areas.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
2+ year of shipping & receiving or warehouse logistics experience required
Familiarity with using barcode scanners, shipping software (e.g. UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager), and basic computer systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to match paperwork with physical products
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
Basic math and organizational skills; able to follow directions and work independently
Forklift experience is a plus (certification preferred but not required)
Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
Experience working around print or manufacturing environments is a bonus
