Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe - Tarzana

Position: Medical Scribe
Location: Tarzana, CA
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Our Specialty Medical Office is currently looking to hire an experienced and self-motivated Medical Scribe to join our team! We are ideally looking for a person with back office and scribing experience, excellent written and oral communication skills.

Medical Scribe Job Duties:

• The Medical Scribe documents the physician dictated patient history, including history of present illness, past medical and surgical history, medications and allergies.

• Note any physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician.

• Verify the results of laboratory and radiographic studies as dictated by the physician.

• Complete all documentation of the patient’s visit.

Medical Scribe work qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year Medical Scribe experience

• Typing 60 WPM is required

• Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred (not required)

• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records)

• Familiar with medical terminology

Medical Scribe additional details:

• Location: Tarzana, CA

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)

• Pay Rate: $18/hr. - $19/hr. (Depending on Experience)
