Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements. This role involves analyzing quality performance, implementing improvements, and supporting compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other applicable standards.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.

Perform audits (internal, supplier, and process) to ensure ongoing adherence to quality standards.

Monitor and analyze quality metrics (e.g., scrap rates, defect trends, customer complaints).

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve product performance.

Support PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and other quality documentation for new and existing products.

Interact with customers and suppliers regarding quality concerns and resolution.

Assist in training staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (required).

2+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, SPC, DOE).

Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100, IATF).

Experience with quality software and data analysis tools.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

ASQ certification (CQE) is a plus.
