The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role helps minimize downtime and supports smooth day-to-day production or facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, components, and systems
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and ensure proper operation
  • Maintain maintenance logs and complete work orders accurately
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with installation of new equipment or facility upgrades
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems
  • Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
