We are currently seeking an experienced Iron Worker / Structural Welder for a long-term position based in Mobile, AL. This role offers steady work with a reputable company, with travel required when needed for various projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform structural welding on steel and iron components
Erect, align, and secure structural steel
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication as required
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Follow all safety regulations and job-site procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Iron Worker and/or Structural Welder
Ability to read blueprints and structural drawings
Experience with common welding processes (MIG, FCAW, Stick)
Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
Willingness to travel when project needs require
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
