One of our valued manufacturing clients is seeking an entry level QA/QC Technician to support product quality, testing, and inspection within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet customer, automotive, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections at various stages of production and document results
Conduct grain flow testing on automotive components to verify material integrity
Analyze and interpret grain flow patterns to assess structural quality
Perform laboratory testing including tensile testing
Verify products received from outside services (heat treating, plating, etc.) through testing and documentation review
Accurately record test results and maintain detailed quality records
Sort mixed or non-conforming parts as required
What You Bring
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive inspections
Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills
Proficiency using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, attribute gages)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
Basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, decimals, fractions, and metric/English conversions
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
Ability to work in a moderately clean manufacturing environment
Forklift or material handling experience preferred
Schedule & Pay
Pay: $20 per hour
Full-time, onsite role
- 1st shift 6 AM - 2 PM, Monday - Friday
