Food Production Worker – (38 degrees) Commercial Kitchen (St. Louis Area)
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday (no weekends). Typical hours start at 7:00am-4:30pm, with earlier finish times on lighter days, and occasional extended days that may run into early evening.
Overview:
We are seeking dependable Food Production Workers to join a busy commercial kitchen in the St. Louis area. This role involves assisting with preparation, portioning, packaging, and labeling of food products in a team-focused environment. Some tasks may take place in refrigerated or freezer areas, so the ability to work in colder conditions is required.
Responsibilities:
Portion, package, and label food items according to standards
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Follow safety and production guidelines
Support overall kitchen operations
Qualifications:
Previous food handling or production experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working in cooler or refrigerated environments
