Drafter

Drafter - Local shop in Bakersfield is looking for a Drafter with experience in creating detailed technical drawings for parts and machinery while working with current design tools and techniques. This Drafter will do extensive measuring while utilizing all measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc. This Drafter will capture all dimensional, metallurgical and hardware, will review all drawings for accuracy etc.

This is a long term, full time position in Bakersfield.  The hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Company offers excellent benefits and a 401 k retirement plan (with a match)  Hourly rate is negotiable and DOE.  Call Kristy for more information at 661-695-5117.  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Drafting experience
• Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and 3D laser scanner
• Ability to read blueprints and product specifications
• Experience and knowledge utilizing all measuring tools
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Quality inspection
